Marine CSI has created a curriculum for environmental and marine science that you can incorporate into your science classes or teach as a weekly special at your school/facility! Our Coastal Curriculum provides you with lesson plans and background information for a FULL semester of environmental science and a FULL semester of marine science for your students to enjoy.

NEW FOR 2024! Our in-person workshops will offer both indoor and outdoor activities, thanks in part to our partnership with NC Sea Grant. You will have the opportunity to receive both CEU credit, as well as North Carolina Environmental Education Criteria II credit.

       Description: Come celebrate EARTH DAY EVERY DAY with a six-hour fully immersive workshop at the marsh.

             We will spend time delving into Marine CSI's teacher resource books with a few activities and then heading out

             for a marsh walk and an activity from the dock. This is a rain/shine workshop but if weather is inclement, we will

             have an alternative planned.

       Location: Kenneth Batts Family Park Pavilion, Surf City

       Time: 9am-3pm (may end early)

       Criteria II Outdoor Component: Yes

       Cost: $100 (includes $70 worth of resource books)

        Description: Come celebrate Mother's Day with a "Love Your Mother Earth" four-hour fully immersive workshop

             at the marsh. We will spend time delving into Marine CSI's Coastal Curriculum books with a few activities and

             then heading out for a marsh walk and an activity from the dock. This is a rain/shine workshop but if weather is

             inclement, we will have an alternative planned.
