Resource Books

From its inception in 2013, Marine CSI: Coastal Science Investigations has been dedicated to assisting educators, both formal and informal, with lessons on coastal ecology. We created two resource books, with over 130 lessons. Each book is divided into eight units. We also created student workbooks to coincide with each resource, with worksheets and extra activities designed for students. All four books can be found and purchased through Amazon.com or any time Marine CSI has a booth at a specific festival or event. Sample lessons are found on the Sample Lesson Plans page and sample activities are found on the Kids Page.

From our valued customers:

"I am in awe of what you and Regina have put together!!! What an incredible amount of work, thought, creativity, imagination, and detailed research you've put into these books. They are treasure troves for educators - both in depth and breadth." ~Judy, Education Director, Roanoke, VA

"I absolutely love this book! I am a high school teacher and contacted the author directly after she posted to a list serve about offering a free sample of the book before ordering. I was able to use the free lesson with my students and then decided to purchase the book for my class. This is a great resource for teachers who would like to bring marine science into their curriculum." ~Amazon.com reviewer
