TWO OPTIONS FOR WORKSHOPS NOW AVAILABLE:

Option 1: On-Site Workshops

Description: Let Marine CSI come to you for a full day of hands-on and interactive activities for your staff to learn how to incorporate marine science into the work you do. We will work through four of our newly updated lessons at your facility, institution, or organization, and then utilize your campus grounds to dive into some exploration of outdoor classroom space. As part of the workshop fees, you will receive a physical copy of each of our six books to house at your facility.

 

Cost: $85 administrative fee + $50 book printing fee + $35 materials fee + travel/accommodations (may apply for longer distances and overnight stays)

Options 2: Coastal In-Person Workshops *(Locations, dates, and times subject to change)*:

Description: Spend the day learning how to incorporate some fun and interactive activities into your curriculum or programs utilizing our newly printed resource books. We'll then head to a coastal ecosystem (marsh/uplands forest) for a guided walk to discuss how to utilize an outdoor classroom. As part of the workshop fees, you will receive a digital copy of each of our six books. These are rain/shine workshops with an outdoor component, so please bring rain gear.

 

Locations: Based on availability of sites (Carteret County, Pender County, New Hanover County)

Time: 9am-3pm

NC EE Criteria II: Yes, on-site

Cost: $85 administrative fee + $30 digital book and materials fee
